If you are registered or plan to register for any of the SAT, PSAT, AP, or ACT exams at Ridgewood High School, we want to inform you of recent regulations regarding test security for these exams, since October, 2007.
A recent letter from the College Board states:
"Cell phones are prohibited; students should not bring cell phones to the test center. If a student brings a phone and it makes noise (rings or vibrates), or the student is seen using a phone at any time (including breaks), you should dismiss the student, and the College Board will cancel their score. This policy also applies to pagers, watch alarms, personal digital assistants, or any other digital and/or electronic equipment.
Therefore, if it is absolutely necessary for your child to bring a cell phone for use after the exam, we will ask the student to relinquish it to the proctor before the exam begins. Those items will be returned to the student at the conclusion of testing."

We have also been instructed to check picture ID and verify confirmation forms at the entrance of the building, which may increase the length of the lines. Please check to make sure you have these items ready for review, and expect an increase in processing time.
